John Keener, Owner

John spent 30 years seasoning seafood at local Charleston restaurants and the past 19 years as owner of the Charleston Crab House restaurants. All this hard work has prepared John for his next profession of running a children's day care center in the Bahamas'. John has surrounded himself with great people and talent for all of those years and continues to operate the business sun-up to moon-down. His life philosophy of "love thy neighbor" holds true to all of the Crab House's customers and friends.

Kim Jackson, Operations Manager

Kim was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina on local seafood. She started working in the seafood restaurant business at age 15. After being in the banking business for 4 years Kim decided the restaurant business was a better fit for her. She became a part of the Charleston Crab House team in 1993. Kim is happily married to her husband Matthew and they have a beautiful daughter named Brittany.

Terri Sharpe, Operating Partner - James Island Location

Terri is originally from Michigan and has worked in the food and beverage industry since she was 12 years old. She has spent the last 7 years with the Charleston Crab House. She loves her job, dogs and most of all her beautiful son, Sam.

Brad Atherton (International Man of Mystery), Operating Partner - Mt. Pleasant Location

Brad grew up in Davenport Iowa, joined the Air Force and spent 13 years defending this great nation. He graduated from La Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts (Scottsdale As) in 2003 and has worked in Micro Brew Pub and also Fish theme restaurants ever since. Brad moved to the great city of Charleston with his lovely wife in 2008 and joined the Charleston Crab House Crew. He has a dog named Sierra, after his favorite beer! Brad has lived vicariously through himself since birth.

Ricky Colton, Operating Partner - Downtown Location

Ricky has been a part of the Charleston Crab House team for over 8 years. He started as a bus boy and worked his way up through every position. Ricky has worked at every location and opened 3 of the Charleston Crab House restaurants. He loves working in the restaurant business because he enjoys every aspect especially meeting new people. He claims by working in this industry he never has a boring day!

Jeff Cornelison, Operating Partner - Columbia Location

Although a 30 year resident of SC, Jeff is a Georgia Bulldog fan 'till he dies. He has been in the restaurant business for an astonishing length of time. Previously employed with Sysco Foods, Jeff decided to explore other avenues of the food and beverage industry and joined the Charleston Crab House. Jeff has been married to his wife Trina for 14 years and has two great kids, Quinten and Ethan. Jeff's two mottos are:
"Don't panic"
"One team, one dream with apologies to my friend Chris Kunkle."
